Presbyterian Community Connect
PCConnect is a distribution network designed to highlight the life and mission of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. By incorporating multiple modes of communication (email, web, video) and various schedules (daily, weekly, monthly), the Communications Office is able to bring the news of the day to the entire Presbyterian community.
The various services of PCConnect are described below, but we can't produce a thing without your help... We need your stories! What excites you about your congregation? What have you done to fulfill your commitment to mission? When is your next congregational meal? Please send your stories to communications@presbyterian.ca and please include as many photos as possible!
Flavours of PCConnect
The Daily is a near-real-time feed of news and events gathered from across the Presbyterian community. Everything from the smallest spaghetti supper to live reports from the floor of General Assembly are reported here.
PCConnect-TV
This weekly short video is the most engaging way to share the Presbyterian experience with each other and the world. Tune in each week to see, in living colour, what other churches are up to!
PCConnect-ENews
The familiar monthly email newsletter continues - albeit in a slightly modified form. Inside you will find an abridged version of what appears in the Daily as well as notices of upcoming national and regional events as well newly published resources.
PCConnect-Links
The Communications Office uses its Links service to share articles from around the web with the Presbyterian commmunity. You can participate by sharing links through a service called Delicious. Simply tag articles of interest to the PCC community with "pcconnect" from your Delicious account. Alternatively, you can send links in to us at communications@presbyterian.ca.
