Step 1. Calculate the dollar base of the congregation
To calculate your congregation's suggested allocation for a given year (e.g., 2009), you need the dollar base from two years previous (2007). The dollar base for each congregation is listed in the final column on the right side of the page of the Statistical and Financial Reports of The Acts and Proceedings.
The dollar base figure does not include Presbyterians Sharing, other mission givings, or money used for debt repayment (principal and interest).
