Tuesday, June 1
Thank God for the beauty of green grass, warm sun and bright flowers.

Wednesday, June 2
Pray that our congregations will be beacons of love, peace and justice in their communities.

Thursday, June 3
Give thanks for the work and ministry of Chaplain General The Rev. Dr. David Kettle, who has been named Honourary Chaplain to the Queen.

Friday, June 4
Pray for those who are about to be married, that they might be united by God’s spirit in their commitment and actions.

Saturday, June 5
Pray for those travelling to General Assembly, that they might arrive refreshed for the work ahead of them.

~ General Assembly Sunday ~
Pray for the commissioners, staff and visitors to General Assembly in Sydney, Nova Scotia, and for moderator-designate The Rev. Dr. Herb Gale.

Monday, June 7
Pray for the Young Adult Representatives at General Assembly, and give thanks for their energy, insight and passion.

Tuesday, June 8
Pray that the decisions made during Assembly will be to the glory of God and the uplifting of the Church.

Wednesday, June 9
Pray for Trinity Presbyterian Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba as their church grows and as they look towards a new building.

Thursday, June 10
Pray for newly ordained ministers who are serving in their first call.

Friday, June 11
Pray for Captain Dwight Nelson, who serves as a military chaplain at Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario, and for his ministry with those under his care.

Saturday, June 12
Pray that those who suffer from substance abuse will have the courage for self-reflection.

Sunday , June 13
Pray for opportunities for rest and relaxation for those who struggle throughout the year to provide for their families.

Monday , June 14
Pray for University Presbyterian Church in Toronto, Ontario as the congregation continues to build relationships in the Jane-Finch community. May their desire to build a church of life-changing connections be fulfilled.

Tuesday, June 15
Bless young people as they finish school for the summer. Lord, be with those who are graduating from high school and making decisions as to their future, whether it be university, college, finding a summer employment or a permanent job.

Wednesday, June 16
Pray for soldiers, sailors, and air personnel who have been wounded in body, mind, or spirit while serving in Afghanistan.

Thursday, June 17
Pray for the congregations of Brandon Presbytery as they continue the task of rebuilding and reorganizing in order to better serve God and their communities.

Friday, June 18
Pray for The Rev. Denise Van Wissen and for her work as a health and nutrition coordinator in Guatemala. Pray for all Maya women, especially for nutrition promoters and their families.

Saturday, June 19
Pray for The Rev. Nancy Bettridge as she ministers to people with severe mental illness. May the patients of Providence Care Mental Health Services experience new hope and God's grace and peace.

Sunday, June 20
~ Aboriginal Sunday ~
Thank God for the gift of different cultures. Pray for new and ongoing friendships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in Canada.

Monday , June 21
Pray for people who are about to retire. May they be granted the will and the ability to participate and experience all that this new time of their lives has to offer.

Tuesday, June 22
Pray for Margaret Evans as she works with the Shauri Yako Youth Support Centre in Nyeri, Kenya as a Youth Program Coordinator.

Wednesday, June 23
Pray for those who face a long commute to and from work every day.

Thursday, June 24
Pray for Murray Garvin and one of his students from Yushan Theological College and Seminary, Akas, as they undertake extensive summer deputation in Canada.

Friday, June 25
Pray for refugees and displaced people around the world, that they might find hope in the Lord and a new life safe from harm and suffering. Pray for those who are beginning a new life in Canada, thanks to sponsorship by Canadian congregations and the work of Presbyterian World Service & Development.

Saturday, June 26
Give thanks for who faithfully support the mission work of the church through prayer, gifts and deeds.

Sunday, June 27
Pray for the congregations and ministers in the Presbytery of East Toronto, and for their new Clerk, The Rev. Ian McDonald.

Monday, June 28
Pray for couples who are experiencing difficulty in their relationships, that they might treat each other with respect, forgiveness and love, striving to see each other’s point of view.

Monday Tuesday , June 29
Pray for the members of the Committee to Advise with the Moderator as they assist in planning the upcoming year.

Monday Wednesday, June 30
Pray for the teams from St. Andrew's and St. David's in St. John's, Newfoundland who attended the Stewards by Design Conference, as they share their learning and experience with their congregations. Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit in this vital ministry.
