24 Presbyterians from across Canada attended KAIROS' national gathering held June 17-20, 2009 at the University of Waterloo.  Ministers, laity and regional and national office staff participated.  The gathering brought together 400 people from member churches of KAIROS, Aboriginal people, Southern and Canadian KAIROS partners.  The theme "The end of the world as we know it...Thank God!" explored apocalyptic themes and stories (such as poverty, violence, human rights abuse, environmental degradation) in contemporary society.
