News

Youth Ministry News... at its January 2012 meeting the Presbytery gave its blessing to the creation of the Presbytery of Ottawa Youth Working Group, comprised of interested youth and youth leaders. The goals are to support joint youth activities that encourage youth to get to know each other and to support youth leaders.
The working group has agreed to:
- Plan two or three youth events for all the congregations in the Presbytery.
- Create and maintain a Youth Leaders Contact List
- Create a Web site to foster communication and share resources
Two joint Presbytery events have been planned:
- Sat. Feb 11th Winter-Lude skating with congregations, meet for pizza, join in the PointWorship planned for Worship-Lude.
- Sun May 6 Planned Pot Luck Lunch, Gym and Youth Worship.
A website has been developed to encourage participation, support leaders and teachers of youth and communicate with youth, young adults and leaders. A link to the site is immediately above the "News" heading. Contact Christine Ball for more information.
