Shahrzad Kandalaft has been offered and accepted the half-time appointment to Barrhaven; arrangements are being made for her ordination. Three candidates for ministry received initial certification from the presbytery: Alex Fels (St. Andrew’s Ottawa), Enoch Lee (Grace) and Peter Mayum (St. Timothy’s). Congratulations go out to Cedric Pettigrew who will be receiving an honorary D.D. from Presbyterian College at its convocation in May. • The Presbytery met on the afternoon of Sunday Dec. 4 in St. Andrew's Church, Kars to process a call to Lyn Hughes from St. Peter's Church, Stanley N.B. On the same occasion, Liz Chan was received as as a minister of The Presbyterian Church in Canada and inducted into the pastoral charge of St. Andrew's Church, Kars and Osgoode Church, Vernon. Welcome, Liz, and godspeed, Lyn!
