The Rev. Will Ingram attended a Global Economic Conference on Economic Justice for Dalits this past summer that was sponsored by the World Council of Churches.

Dalits are the people in India who were formerly referred to as outcastes or untouchables because they have no place in the Hindu caste system. Along with the Adivasi or tribal peoples of India, such as the Bhils, they make up more than 80% of the Christian community in India. Rev. Ingram will speak and show short video clips on the Dalits and their struggle for justice.
