Telling the Story

The past year has seen great progress in the administration and financing of the Campus Ministry. The Campus Ministry Committee, comprised chiefly of Presbyters of the Presbyterian and United Churches, has excellent leadership and a new sense of purpose.

Our spirituality programs continue to be very strong. Drumming is always the highlight and is our flagship program. Somewhere in the order of 2,000 people participate in our Community Drum Circles each year. We are hoping to see even greater numbers in this program and are very grateful that The Experimental Fund of The Presbyterian Church in Canada has granted us $3,000.00 to buy additional drums. Over the past few months our education programs have also been doing very well.

While we have a strong Young Adult network off-campus, the lack of a solid Christian student community on Campus continues to be a disappointment. This is the most difficult part of Campus Ministry but is, in some ways, the most important. The good news is that we see signs of our student group re-forming.
