From 42 years of teaching, this is a selection of opening prayers from Walter Brueggemann’s seminary classes. They are offered to us as an aid in public prayer and as an acknowledgement and thanks to the students he has prayed with over the years. Avid readers of Brueggemann will be pleased to encounter his ability to place wisdom in the context of faith.
