Review

Especially designed for small group study, this 9-session curriculum explores our relationship to money from biblical, emotional and social/economic justice standpoints.

What is a Ministry of Money study circle?

A Ministry of Money study circle is a group of 6-10 people who gather on a regular basis to discuss issues of money and faith. Meetings generally last about two hours and are structured around Scripture, other thought-provoking readings, and discussions. Study circles are moderated by the members of the group, each taking a turn at facilitating a meeting.

The study circle handbook includes excellent articles by a wide variety of authors, Bible studies, written exercises and small group discussion questions. Each session ends with a short assignment for the next session.

"Money is a paradox in our culture — it enslaves, yet it also frees; it is intensely private, but it is also very public; it measures worth, yet it is no measure of real worth; it destroys yet also creates."
Ministry of Money: Exploring Money and Spirituality

"Money is a gift from God. When we are in right relationship with God, we will be in right relationship with our money."
Vicki Curtiss, Ministry of Money: Exploring Money and Spirituality
