Lauren Artress, psychotherapist and canon of Grace Episcopal Cathedral in San Francisco , give an historical account of the labyrinth, particularly its inclusion and use in medieval cathedrals as an introduction to the description of the recreation of the labyrinth at Grace Cathedral. She champions this ancient meditational technique as a tool to rediscover one’s spiritual centre. She has introduced the labyrinth to many people of all faiths through her writings, retreats and workshops.
