Jim Wallis uses his own life experiences to show that to build a better tomorrow we need a foundation of both individual and social responsibility.  He argues that traditional liberal and conservative political thinking cannot solve today’s “cultural breakdown and political impasses.”  He also challenges the status-quo and suggests that politics needs to be linked to spirituality.  The book almost dares its readers to work for a better society.
