Book Description
The Christmas season is a highly stressful time for many people. Birthing the Promise addresses the need for daily spiritual reflection and the hunger for meaningful ritual while acknowledging and valuing many of the secular realities of the season. Stories, rayers, creative worship rituals, music, and liturgies are drawn from many ethnocultural backgrounds and sources to enable individuals, families, and small groups to create space in their preoccupied lives for the Spirit to move as they prepare to celebrate Christmas.
