Book Description
Living in God's Creation has been prepared for Christian educators working with children between the ages of six and sixteen. By the end of the study we hope children and youth will understand that:
- They are partners in God's wonderful creation and want to learn to work with God to keep things "very good"
- People of all ages can develop an ecological approach to our understanding of our existence. This is in contrast to traditional anthropocentric views that value people as the centre and most significant part of creation
- Life on planet earth calls us to live in interdependence, caring for and nurturing the earth
- We can all do our part in reducing our "ecological footprint"
