This is an excellent, thoughtful devotional of substance for families or for clergy looking for a resource for the children’s sermon. It can be difficult to guide our children through the Bible, teaching them to turn to it for answers to real-life situations. Each day is presented with a scripture reading in a language that children can understand taken from most books of the Bible, not just the familiar stories and includes reflection that connects the story to their lives even tackling difficult topics such jealousy, other faiths, death, authority and divorce. The prayer is brief, fresh, on topic and teaches children how to speak to God. Subject and Scripture indexes are included.
