Celtic spirituality informs us that God uses two books to communicate with his people - the Bible and the Book of Creation. Celtic spirituality does not read the story of creation in Genesis as 'a chronological account of the making of the earth.' Rather, it shows how God reveals himself through the natural world, using six days of creation and the seventh day of rest as a unique framework. Each chapter ends with suggestions for meditation and prayer, linking the Celtic love for Scripture to the Celtic awareness of nature as God's other book. A wonderful book for Celtic spirituality or for personal devotion.
