Synods

A synod is composed of several presbyteries. There are eight synods based roughly, but not always, on provincial boundaries. All members of the presbyteries attend the annual meeting of synod.

Most of the church camps across Canada are operated by synods. Sometimes a synod will deal with an appeal against some action of a presbytery. Synods often provide a time of spiritual and educational renewal for all those gathered.
